Apostolic DoctrineThe word apostle at its root means "one who is sent." Doctrine is simply teaching. When it comes to apostolic doctrine it is simply teaching that comes to us from the apostles. In the book of Acts when the church began it states that "they continued stedfastly in the Apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:42). We also today continue in this same doctrine.

SalvationNew Ransom Temple Inc. ministries believes in biblical salvation. As it pertains to being saved and salvation the bible is very clear on this matter. We believe in the repentance of sins and the water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ (which is for the forgivness of sins) then being filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8) speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance according to (Acts 2:38 KJV). We are all born into sin and shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51:5). Which is why Jesus Christ came to die for our sins to set us free from sin (Romans 6:18). We believe in living a holy and sacredlife before God. Jesus stated in John 3:5 that we must be born of the water(baptism) and of the spirit (Holy Ghost). He made it clear that if we don't do both we shall not enter into the Kingdon of God (Heaven). Also there has been a lot of controversy as it relates to the water baptism. In (Matthew 28:19 KJV) Jesus commanded his disciples to go and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The name of those titles is Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19 KJV was fulfilled in Acts 2:38 KJV, Acts 8:16 KJV, Acts 10:48 KJV, Acts 19:1-6 KJV and which is why we believe in the Baptism in Jesus Name. You can be free, delivered and live a life pleasing to God.

The GodheadOur ministry believes in the oneness of God meaning Jesus Christ is God Almighty wrapped in the flesh. The scripture states that in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9) (Ephesians 4:4-6). We believe that Jesus is the Father (John 10:30, John 14:9, and Isaiah 9:6), Jesus is the son (Matthew 1:21) and Jesus is the Holy Ghost (John 14:26). In the Old Testament God said I am the first and the last (Isaiah 41:4 and Isaiah 44:6) and then Jesus states he is the first and the last in Revelation 1:17 and Revelations 22:13. Also the scriptures states that God was manifest (made known) in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). There are many other scriptures that support oneness of God and Jesus being God Almighty.

Women PreachersAs it pertains to leadership and positions in the church the bible does not support women being pastors nor preachers including bishops, evangelists, deacons, etc. Paul wrote a letter to Timothy being very clear about this matter (1 Timothy 2:12). It is also clear in the scriptures that a Bishop (overseer) and the deacons must be the husband of one wife (1 Timothy 3:1-12). A lot of people mention Deborah in the bible because she judged Israel. Deborah was a judge and a prophetess but was not a preacher. To prophecy is not preaching but it is a God given ability to foretell future events to come (Joel 2:28). Now women have a wonderful duty in the church but it is not to preach or teach the word of God in the pulpit. Paul stated to help those women who laboured with me in the gospel (Philippians 4:3 KJV). We also believe and the scripture supports that women are more than capable to teach other women things in the appropriate area of topic (Titus 1:4-5 KJV).

CommunionCommunion is a sacred ceremony that is a part of ministry. However, it should be done wisely and discretely. The bible condemns and warns those who partake in communion unworthily (1 Corinthians 11:29 KJV). Paul addresses the Corinthinan church a message he received of the Lord concerning communion (1 Corinthians 11:23-28 KJV). There is no specific amount of times stated to participate in communion but rather we are commanded to keep it as often as we do it. New Ransom Temple Inc. does not partake in feet washing practices nor serve alcoholic wine for communion as this is not supported by scriptures.

HolidaysValentine's Day Originated from a festival called Lupercalia held by the ancient Romans where the people gave honor to three idols: Lupa (the wolf god), Lupercus (the god of shepards), and June (the goddess of women and marriage). This pagan holiday supports fleshly romantics, intimacies, and lust. The renown symbol of this pagan holiday is Cupid (the god of love and sexual desire). 1 John 2:15-16, Romans 13:13-14, Colossians 3:5 Halloween Originates from a festival called Samhain (pronounced sow in) held by the ancient Celtic people where the people gave honor to the dead, entertaining demons, and evil spirits. Easter Originates from a pagan custom that was started by the Germans who gave honor to Eastre (the goddess of light, spring, and queen of heaven). Judges 2:11-13, 1 Samuel 12:10-11 Christmas Originates from the fifth century Roman Catholic Church who ordered December 25th to be celebrated as Jesus birthday on the same day of the Roman feast of which they celebrated the birth of SOL/Mithra (the sun god).

MarriageWe believe in biblical marriage between one man and one women which was ordained by God from the beginning (Gensis 2:18-24). God approves marriage so much that the bible states that marriage is honorable in all (Hebrews 13:4), and also Proverbs 18:22. Now concerning same sex marriage God condemns such acts and lifestyle. We do not marry nor partake in same sex marriage within our ministry. The bible is clear that God created male and female for each other to reproduce and replenish the earth Genesis 1:27-28, Matthew 19:4-6. Same sex marriage and lifestyle is a sin before God and was not created nor instituted by the Almighty Creator (Leviticus 20:13). We believe that marriage is til death as the bible supports. (1 Corinthians 7:39). Jesus Christ himself does not support divorce and remarriage (Mark 10:11-12). As believers we are not in position to add or take away from the word of God nor add any thoughts of our own to such plain statements from the scripture concerning marriage.
